Taking pictures has never been this easy. We are recording everything with our smartphones all day, every day. It's easy for pictures of memories we hold dear to get lost in the flood of photographs that were fun to take in the moment, but have less value to us in the long run.
Graduated visual artist Leanne Prins (Heemstede, 1992) practically grew up holding a pencil. Her passion for drawing made her stand out, developing her into a painter and sculptor. The buzz she gets from painting feels like home to her, and she loves to paint everything that touches her on a personal level - mostly moment and people in her private life. She has a casual style that makes the brush, the paint and the stroke obvious part of the work and yet also crisply captures the essence of the original image.
